Sketchbook

Here are some drawings from my last sketchbook.
From waiting in airport lounges, to visiting exhibitions to sitting in a random café. Most of these images come from a little book on Bauhaus photography I got on a trip (Bauhaus Foto - Bauhaus-Archiv Museum für Gestaltung).
I used the photography references to focus on portraits, still one of my favourite subjects.
Because the drawings couldn't be scanned, I took photos of each one of them and threw some background colour close to the actual paper. The pen and pencil lines' have been saturated using the 'Levels' feature on Photoshop to restore black ink saturation.
The sketches have been made with pencil and pen liners.
